Comfort & Joy is a volunteer-driven community non-profit where our members donate their time and skills in order to further our mission and values. We want to foster and promote welcoming spaces and nurturing community through ART!
There are multiple ways to add your art to our collective – we're always looking for queer/allied artists, designers, performers and DJs who align with our ethos. Below you'll find forms to grab our attention via several open calls:

Call4Art (proposals for Burning Man 2023)
If you are a painter, we are requesting proposals for the enchanting Temple of Queer Dreams. This extraordinary six-sided sanctuary will be adorned with queer symbols, icons, and a magnificent Tree of Flowers at its heart. The Temple invites your imagination to manifest through one of three canvas paintings, each approximately 2.5m x 3.3m (8'x10') in size — for more information see below:
Call for Visual Artists for the Digital Art Collection
If you are a visual artist, we'd like to support your creations by purchasing usage rights to digital art for use in the promotion of our events, announcements, and general communications. Our digital art collection is an ongoing endeavor to collect and exhibit art which mirrors our values and organizational mission; note that the primary purpose of this call is to purchase rights to existing works, not to commission new art. NOTE: WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW SUBMISSIONS AT THIS TIME.
