Comfort & Joy is beyond excited to finally bring you the 16th evolution of our legendary blacklight discotheque: Afterglow 2022!

Grab your dayglo, come play with us and play on the dance floor all night long at SF Pride's premier Pink Saturday party. After a long three year hiatus, we can’t wait to welcome you back and create a special night of revelry and celebration for our beloved queer community.

On center stage at 1am our magnificent hosts Grace Towers and Larissa Archer will mesmerize you with Afterglow’s main show, featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, fashion icon and boundary breaker Raja Gemini and a grand finale ensemble of dazzling community performers.

Also the fluorescent wonders of the Electric Spectrum LED Circus and pole-dancing powerhouses Aurora Rose and Cezar Lopez will be serving up sizzling ambience for your pleasure throughout the rest of the evening.

We’re excited to take you on an euphoric dancing journey from doors open to 6am, featuring fabulous DJs like David Harness, Sergio Ferdaz and more across four different spaces, including a new outside Silent Disco.

As always Comfort & Joy’s acclaimed empress of neon Chickpea (Brian Busta) and an amazing team of co-creating artists will be casting high witchery and fluorescent splendor, including Blitzy, Blue, Matt Picon, Steve Dudek, Mitcho, and more!

Our cuddle tent will also be back to hold space for more grounded interpersonal immediacy and caring touch, curated by the lovable Cobalt and with delightful tea service by the ever wondrous Carolina Sunshine.

And upstairs you can once again fall into a debaucherous dream of luscious delights.

Comfort & Joy is here for you! If you ever need support, see someone who may or have other concerns at our parties, please find one of our 'vibe-raters' (purple glow collars) or a house manager (pink glow collars).

We want everyone to always feel respected, adventurous and safe at our events. Consent makes that possible. Please communicate and check in before touching. If you aren’t feeling it, a polite ‘no thank you’ is kind. ‘No’ is also a complete sentence. If you receive ‘no’ in any form, please be gracious and respect it. Ultimately, we request that we ask each other for permission rather than forgiveness, when it comes to consent.

IF YOUR FUNDS ARE TIGHT, THERE ARE LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER AND HELP US CREATE THE MAGIC OF AFTERGLOW! It takes a big ol’ queer village to manifest all of this merry madness and every party volunteer gets a free ticket.

We will be limiting our waitlist to 100 people, and getting on the waitlist is not a guarantee a ticket will be released to you. It just means when the first three tiers are sold out, if/when a ticket is refunded, we will release to the waitlist in the order that folx have signed up

We will have 100 tickets available at the door for $100 each. Whether you sign up for the waitlist, getting to the venue early is your best chance to get a ticket.
